Landscaped garden
Don't make the mistake that many self-builders do and assume -that 'That's it!'. All too many home-builders spend all their money on the home itself and forget to design its surroundings. You'll be spending a lot of time in the garden, and be wise to allocate some budget for making it complement the home itself.
A garden designed to harmonize with the design of the house is a treat for the eyes, and a joy to behold.
